Karen Armstrong

Diagnosis and Illness

Karen was a very joyful toddler and a very lovely child. But her joyfulness suddenly turned into a nightmare, and the voice disappeared forever. Passing of Karen Armstrong

Despite all those intense cobalt radiation treatments that seemed to give her a bit of relief for a moment, Karen’s health was going downhill pretty fast by late 1961. By January 28, 1962, and yeah, that date also matched her parents’ sixth wedding anniversary, Karen died of pneumonia, which had been triggered by her already weakened condition from the cancer.
