What is Beneficence?

Beneficence is the researcher performing the act of performing research with an adequate understanding of the task. It is a ethics that helps a person to help others and ensure that the task performed will have a good impact on society. It is a performance that is for the betterment of the researcher. The antonym of the word is maleficence, which is the act of not allowing to perform the act of goodness.

Beneficence is the act that is being performed in the space of nursing or caregiving. It ensures that the positive help of the organisation is providing the patients. In terms of drugs, providing the patient with different drugs that can have an impact on the patient is the act of Nonmaleficence.
For instance, saving a person from fire or drowning is the act of Beneficence. On the other hand, Nonmaleficence will stop the medication for a person.

 It is the act wherein the person can be affected due to the prevention of medication. Apart from that, a Beneficence is a person who will practice the act of helping others in any situation. Beneficence is the act of providing help to the people and ensuring that the person is being helped.
